Both the Isaiah and Psalm passages you quote are poetry.
(i) Do you always take every line in poetry literally?
(ii) Routinely ignore poetic techniques and devices?
(iii) Is your hermeneutical rule 'historical narrative must first and foremost be understood through poetry'?
